• The president and members of Asharqia Chamber visited Al-Shamlan to check on his health

    After he donated one his kidneys to his mother, the president and members of Asharqia Chamber visited Al-Shamlan to check on his health.​


    On Wednesday, March 7, the Chairman of Al-Sharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, a number of Board members, and Secretary-General of the Chamber, visited Mazen Bin Abdullah Al-Shamlan (Director of the Chamber's contracting department) in order to check on his health status after he donated to his kidney to his mother.

    Al-Shamlan has chosen to stop his mother's suffering and to share part of his body in order to relieve her and give her even a small part of the mother's right to her children.

    AlKhalidi said, "Al-shamlan is a good example of the righteous son of his mother – and asking the Almighty to give him reward for what he has done."

    He appeals to the members of the community not to hesitate in providing righteousness and assistance to anyone close to him or even anyone in need. He also prays to Allah to provide fast recovery for Al-shamaln's mother.

    Al-Khalidi explained that good deeds have multiple facets, and one must search for them and think about enforcing them as a trade contract with Allah.

    He pointed out that organs' donation has become an ingrained idea in the Saudi people and the Arab peoples in general. In fact, organ donation societies received many of those who are wishing to donate their organs to others; they have a high registered numbers.

    Al-Khalidi explained the keenness of Asharqia Chamber to promote and consolidate the values of social responsibility, whether among members of the society or among its employees. As a result of that, it has established events of its kind, adopted many initiatives that support, and emphasize the importance of the culture of volunteering and charitable work of all kinds. He considered what Al-Shamlan did is the peak of charitable work and the highest types of righteousness by parents.
